Refund Policy
Last updated: August 2026. The plain-English version of this policy lives on our guarantee page — the two say the same thing.
Before publishing: have this policy reviewed by your legal advisor and reconciled with your enrolment agreement, invoice terms and GST treatment. The wording below reflects the commercial policy agreed for the academy and is drafted to be readable, not to substitute for legal advice.
1. The three-session refund guarantee
Every student enrolling in either the AI Digital Marketing Professional (3 months) or the AI Performance Marketing Career (6 months) program is entitled to a full refund of program fees paid, on request, at any time up to and including the end of their third scheduled session of that program.
No reason needs to be given. No form needs to be completed. No retention or exit interview is required as a condition of the refund.
2. How to make a request
Send a message stating your full name and batch, and that you wish to claim the refund, to either:

A request received on or before the date of your third scheduled session qualifies, regardless of the channel used.
3. Amount refunded
100% of the program fee received by The Viral Trees Academy from the student. No deduction is made for sessions attended, administration, registration or processing. Applicable government taxes are refunded to the extent that they are recoverable by us under prevailing tax law.
Any third-party charges levied directly by a payment gateway, lender or EMI provider are governed by that provider's own terms and are outside our control.
4. Timeline
Refunds are initiated within 3 working days of a qualifying request. Credit to the original payment method typically takes a further 7–10 working days depending on the bank or card issuer. A reference number is shared with the student when the refund is initiated.
5. Attendance condition
The guarantee is intended to let a student evaluate the teaching. Accordingly, a student claiming the refund is expected to have attended the sessions held up to the point of their request. Where a student has attended none of the scheduled sessions, we reserve the right to discuss the request individually before processing it.
6. After the guarantee window
Where a student continues in the program beyond their third scheduled session, the program fee is committed and is not refundable, in whole or in part. Seats are capped at eight per batch and are withdrawn from the waitlist on confirmation of enrolment.
Requests arising from exceptional personal circumstances after this point are considered individually, in writing, at the discretion of the founder. Where a refund is not appropriate, we will where possible offer a transfer of enrolment to a later batch instead.
7. Cancellation by the academy
If we cancel or fail to commence a batch you have enrolled in, you are entitled to a full refund of fees paid or a transfer to a subsequent batch, at your option.
